our story

The SSS DECA Chapter was founded in 2019. With around only a dozen DECA members at the time, we were small compared to other school's chapters. However, our Spartans had a passion for business and DECA that surpassed that of other chapters. Soon, with the help of our club advisors and officers, the SSS DECA chapter has around 35 members.

DECA's competitive events involve effective communication with a judge and as we prepare for this events, you will develop your communication skills naturally.
Collaboration
Two minds are better than one. With DECA team events, participants will work partners to solve real-word problems and will work under collaboration processes like the project management cycle.

SSS DECA provides workshops to inform you of the standards of dressing casual and formal.

Through our annual competitions, you are given the opportunity to meet new people across the state and nation allowing to naturally develop your networking skill.
